Product Details

Q. Can I alter the ratio of a brick slip blend?

A. Absolutely, if you like a blend, but would prefer more or less of a particular colour just contact us after you have placed the order and we will be delighted to amend the ratio for you.

 

Q. What is the size of the brick slips?

A. The Olde Rustic brick slip is approximate size of 260mm x 65mm x 18 mm per tile

 

Q. Can I buy matching corners?

A. Yes, we can supply two piece corners for any of the brick tile colours or blends that we sell. These can be ordered via the Matching Corners option on the online shop. Both pieces are cut at a 45 degree angle to provide a 90 degree join.

 

Q. Do all the brick slips have perfect square sides and a uniform shape?

A. No. The moulds used to produce the brick slips have been purposely created to provide the rustic ‘olde world’ look. However once mortared the brick slips WILL look amazing when fitted correctly and the fact that they do not have square sides significantly improves the visual look.

 

Measuring and Installation

Q. Can you offer any fitting advice?

Q. What do I use to fix the tiles to the wall?

A. We recommend using flexible tile adhesive and you should allow a period of 24-36 hours before applying the mortar. Please use heat resistant varients near fires and log burners.

 

Q. How do I measure my wall to establish the quantity of corners I require?

A. We sell corners by the linear metre. Simply measure the wall that you require corners for from top to bottom

 

Q. Once the mortar has been applied, how long should I leave before fixing fittings such as mirrors and pictures etc?

A. We recommend leaving a period of 7 days to allow the Mortar to cure. It can take up to 28 days for the mortar to cure completely, but 7 days should be enough for the mortar to gain it's full strength

Q. How can I make payment

A. You can make payment via the following methods ;

   i. Via our online shop using credit & debit cards or via your paypal account - See our online payment guide for check out   assistance

   ii. Over the telephone by calling us direct on 0333 577 2015 (08:30-17:30 Mon to Sat)

   iii. Paypal invoice - please call or email us for an invoice to be sent through to you

   iiii. Alternatively we can send you a PDF invoice for bank transfer or bacs transaction - again please contact us to arrange this

 

Q. Do the prices quoted include VAT?

A. No, all listed prices exclude VAT and the VAT will be added in the checkout at the UK Standard rate.

 

Q. Do you offer discounts for large/significant orders?

A. Our prices are already extremely competitive, but if you have a large project please feel free to contact us to discuss the possibility of a discount.

 

Delivery

Q. If I order a sample, how long will it take to receive this?

A. Samples are usually dispatched within 2 working days, with delivery between 2 and 3 working

 

Q. Do you deliver to anywhere in the UK?

A. Yes we do, though transport costs vary depending on where you are within the UK.  The Delivery options and costs are detailed when your checking out via the online shop.

Please also be assured that we aim to keep delivery costs to a minimum and regularly review to ensure that is still the case.

 

Q. When can I expect my goods to be delivered?

A. Economy delivery should be completed within 3-5 days, (this includes the free delivery available on all orders over 10m2). There is an option of premium next day delivery, though there is a small additional charge for this service

 

Q. Can I collect my purchase if I live locally?

A. Yes, we can arrange that, however the goods will need to be purchased in advance. If you would like to purchase and collect, please contact us to discuss further.

 

Q. Can I arrange for delivery on a specific day?

A. Yes, that's not a problem. Please contact us via email or phone after purchase and we will be happy to arrange delivery for a day that suits you.

 

Q. Do you have a showroom?

A. Unfortunately in the short term we are an Online Retailer only and do not have a showroom. However we do have plans for a showroom in 2016 so watch this space
